I think I saw a Masi in the pile. Yes, right next to the Colnago. ;)

I think that he passed the Enthusiastic Bike Collector's exit about 70 miles back and is now nearing the County Mandated Clean-up and Court Ordered Psych Treatment neighborhood...

... there's a guy in Riverside (CA) who constantly posts on the Inland Empire CL, he's got a collection of bikes on his property that looks almost that large ... he constantly posts, and sometimes it's "take 'em all for $1,000" ...

I work 2 miles from this place. These ads show up pretty often.

Someday I have to run over at lunch just to see what's there. Somehow I'm not thinking there's a Team Raleigh Pista hiding in the backyard!

I've shared a map with you called Where's The Bikeman:

Here's the Festival Bay Mall, International runs along the left side. I looked but can't see anything likely.

You know I have a friend that lives near Tampa...only a 13 hour drive from here...

If that was within a 2 hour drive, I'd check it out.
There was a guy in Durham that had over 100 bikes. He was known for rebuilding them, then giving them away to needy kids in his area. I gave him a few bikes, a really nice guy. He got most of his bikes from the City Parks system who gave him all the abandoned bikes they found. I checked out his 100 bikes. I know it may be difficult to believe, but only 4 or 5 bikes were actually worth anything. One Schwinn Traveler, a Trek 800, a Raleigh MTB and a really nice Specialized Allez that he kept for himself (he deserved it). Just lots and lots of Walmart, K-Mart and Target bikes.

The Florida guy started on BF, C&V, and it got out of hand....:D

Rocco, I've met the Sgt Major (USMC Retired) in Durham. No nonsense dude. How he can fix those Wal-Mart brakes is beyond me. Whenever I'm in Wal-Mart, I try to buy a tube or tire, drop them off at his place whenever I'm in Durham. Thugs rule his part of town at night, but no one bothers the Bike Man...:notamused:

It reminds me of the local bike salvage - just went there today to pick up some odds and ends. If you don't mind getting greasy, you can usually find what you're a-hankerin for.

There's a PropertyRoom.com site in Orlando and they're known for auctioning big lots of bikes for cheap. I wonder if this guy has been getting them there?
