Hi I cyclocross alot in the forest, trails, etc. Constantly, I always get bugs, dirt, twigs, and something disgustingly wet hitting my face and even swallowing some. Is there some sort of invention that you wear over your face while also made for cx biking? If so, I would like you to give me a link that product site. Thanks!

Or do I have to wear one of those Motorcycle helmets which I really don't want to.

getting chit in your mouth is an integral part of cyclocross. I suggest riding only on the road if this is a problem, but now that the summer is upon us, the risk of getting small bugs in your mouth while breathing heavily has risen significantly.

I think one of those Hannibal Lecter things http://www.kropserkel.com/Images/lectermuzzlehero.jpg would be awesome and could really help your position before and during a race.

I do know that if there's a narrow trail, with just enough space between branches for you to pass, a spider will have found it before you.

The op has to be spreading a line of BS. If youre wanting to come back clean from a ride find an indoor track.

If youre not coming back from a cross ride muddy bloody and wanting to puke, youre not riding hard enough.
