Think the bike gods have begun to smile on me.
Checking my local craigslist someone has the following ad up:
This is a cavalier bicycle, made in England.. I think it's from about the 1950's. It has fenders, the original seat, attached tire pump, and saddle bag. It's black, and has some really cool designs on the seat tube as well as a neat head tube badge. (it says cavalier, but I haven't been able to find any info about it) I'm afraid I don't have a proper digital camera, so the pictures aren't very good. It also has a three gear internal hub.
On the down side, it needs some work. Definitely needs new tires.. not sure what else. I suspect it's not been ridden in decades.
I'm not entirely sure how to value it, so if you're interested, make an offer. I'm also happy to let you come look at it in person.
Poor picture quality
Thoughts? Value estimates?
