I have asthma, and I like to wear something over my face, as least early on in cold weather. I have a polartec gaiter that goes around my neck, and I can pull it up over my face, but it can be hard to breathe through polartec if I'm really working, plus it will eventually get wet where I am breathing and become uncomfortable.

I borrowed something last year from a friend, made by Nike, similar to my thing, except it had a mesh area in front of the mouth area, and then another light covering over that, shaped kind of like men's briefs. I don't care what it looks like, it really worked, but this year he wants it back.

Does anyone know where I could get such a thing? It was made by Nike, but they have no idea what I'm talking about when I call them.

There is a plastic (clear/yellow/green) face mask
that mounts to the helmet that would reduce air blast
significantly to the upper face. The referred item below
at Performance is not what you want, but when you go
there enter "visor" in the search window and it will bring up the helmet visor.

Here is the only mask I know of that has a heat exchanger for warming the air prior to reaching the lungs. Expensive, but if you are suffering.....

Tell your friend you lost it.
