Classic & Vintage - help id bike?
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Can someone tell me what kind of bike this is?

For some reason it reminds me of an old USA brand called Rollfast. Something about the shape of the chaingurad it the key. Otherwise, it could be a host of USA brand bikes - Ross, Columbia, Huffy, Murray, etc.

I just like looking at this picture, for some reason ;)
It could be some current "vintage" looking reissue, given the flame decals and unicrown fork, or an older (gusseted) cantilever frame that's been updated and re-sprayed. Something about the curve of that top tube that doesn't look "vintage" to me, so I'd vote for it being a current issue.

I agree that it's likely not vintage but instead a contemporary "beach cruiser," likely made in China.

Neither the bike or the rider are vintage.
ah. there is a bike in that picture...
The flames, the seat angle and the head logo make me think Electra...is this a quiz?

That's an Electra Betty with a Wald basket on the front. The single-speed version is only available in black/pink this year. They do a 3-speed one in gold or pink though.
