Mountain Biking - Got my new tires, need some advice

Ok awesome, just got my IRC Mythos XC Race II's! Still burning hot from sitting in the GA sun.
Heres my question
I have the Bell Platinum series Flatblocker max innertubes. They have sealant in them as well as an extra, extra, thick outer wall. In my Bonty tires I have Slime tire liners, and they've worked well. (add to the weight though.) I just examined my bonty and found numerous thorns in them, but still no air leaks.

Heres my dilema, The IRC's Have a very thin sidewall by the feel of it.
DO I ditch the tire liners and stay with the Heavy duty (and heavy weight) tubes? Or should I go to normal tubes and keep the liners.
Or stay the same as what I'm now.
or just do nothing bombshell like and go to normal tubes?

Im ditching the tire liners,
to much of a hassel to get them in place and keep them there.

Ill see how the tubes hold up by them selves.

test rode them in yard, dig in well. turns great and stopping power is amazing compared to my bontys.

The street they're a little rough, but hey, its a mountian bike. Not a roadie.


the real test will be when I go out to Thompson Trail.

dude, you're over analyzing this. ditch the archaic liners. use regular tubes with stans. it has worked very well in cactus country for me during this past race season.

so well, i have put 2 oz of stans in my road tubes as well.

I have a reg tube in my front now (valve broke on the super thicks.)

I had a lot of valve tears with "thorn resistant" tubes as well. Though, the downhill tubes I used to used were excellent. They had a threaded presta stem that allowed you to lock them to the rim like a Presta.

FORGET IT ALL, go ghetto tubeless!
