Tom, check in. I recently heard there were 2 tornadoes in the Lafayette area. You ok?

It was confirmed to be a tornado on the ground by the National Weather Service. No injuries in the area, just property damage. Spent a bit of the AM helping a friend clean up some downed trees in battleground, and we had to decide to leave a tree alone that ALMOST went down on their house. Too much wind to do a long line pull drop.
What we'd have done is cut the tree while hauling it away from the building with a truck to make it fall in the direction we wanted it to. The wind was too gusty though and as a result, I have it stake and stayed with 3 ropes until a tree removal company can drop it for her. :( I convinced her it was better to spend the thousand bucks and get an insured removal expert rather than lose the tee in the wind and do several thousand dollars damage to her house.
