Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

After sitting in the attic all these years, I decided to bring it down as a project for my 10 year old and I to put together when I realized it didn't have rims, sprocket, and many other parts. The Bike actually came from my mother-in-law who brought it home after her brother passed. Enough history.
I don't know what it's worth (if any) and would like to know from the experts. The frame is in great condition, at least a 9 out of 10 for rating. It's red with green/yellow labeling. It has one pedal crank, both pedals, and several other parts. If anybody can help or is interested in buying it, please feel free to contact me.

Thanks,

Chuck

(A) Wrong forum. You need to ask in Classic & Vintage.

(B) There's a current controversy in Classic & Vintage about "What's it worth" threads, with some people taking exception to people posting there just so they can set a price and sell it. They'd be glad to help you with any questions that you and your son would have for a project, less glad to help if it's just about the money.

(C) It's against forum rules to offer a bike for sale in any forum except the for sale forum, open only to members. Of course, people have been known to PM with offers to buy when an owner is thinking about selling a bike. ;)

Welcome, please stay a while, read through the various forums, and perhaps see that cycling is for adults, too. :) But, as stated above, "Advocacy and Safety" is not the right forum for mechanical things, asking about old bikes, or trying to sell something. The people with the answers you need may not read this particular forum, as Bikeforums is a big place. "Classic and Vintage" is the best place to start with your questions, but as Blue Order said, be sensitive about asking for free advice on fixing something so you can make money from it.
