Does anybody know of any good shoes that would work well for pedals that are clipless on one side, but platform on the other? I'm more comfortable using platform pedals for fast and technical downhills, but it would be nice to have the clipless pedals for covering distances and climbs. I've seen the 661 Session and Launch shoes, but the reviews for them don't sound very good, are there any alternatives in the same style?

I'm thinking about getting a pedal something like this:

Those white Sixsixone shoes look pretty nice, but dont know how they ride.

Because of the position of the cleat there is not a shoe that works good for both. When using the "flat" side the cleat will prevent you from getting any decent contact with the pedal. Best to buy two pairs of cheep shoes if you are on a budget.

Also, those are not the best of pedals. They are alright if you are doing bike path rides, easy fireroads and/or just testing a bike at the shop but if you do anything more then that the pedals will wear out very quickly.
