Sit back and imagine this with a fixed wheel.

Sweet skidz fo sho.
Sparkin' burn outz.
Brakeless is even more awesomer.
trackstands, no problem.

Skid patches will bring you back to your days of Big Wheels. Biggest skid patch goes to the toughest kid on the block.

i've ridden a bike without tires, it sucks. there's a reason early bikes were nicknamed "bone-shakers"

You see, the problem here is... (goes into long, old-man explanation of why pneumatic tires are a good thing)...and that's why kids these days will never amount to much because they do silly things like that.

Well, that was a waste of 2 minutes of my life, and three perfectly good bikes. If you're just going to waste them, why not give them to a charity or something instead. Mindless waste is (as stupid as) mindless consumerism.

it's not a waste if you're having fun

I remember when trucks had solid wheels.... then people put rubber tires on. Technology! Improvements!

I suppose someone could make the same argument for gears though.
