Last night my wife got to ride her new bike for the first time. She really liked it.
I messed around and found her an old free spirit. Now before you all ask why I am going to tell you. She had certain things that she wanted on a bike that is just not made anymore. A step through fram being one of the big ones. She really did not want a comfort bike and she already has a mountain bike but she needed a road bike. I found this one at Goodwill and it is in incredible shape. Dirty and dry rotted tires but that is it. The frame is not even scratched. It just so happened that I had a brand new set of tires and tubes that fit it.
She looked great riding it and said that it was alot faster and better feeling than her mountain bike. The shifters threw her a little but she is gathering it up very quickly. Now she is wanting to go for a ride this afternoon after church.
I am a happy man.
Now to get the stepsons Varsity up and going.
