I'd like to start a tread dedicated to Vintage Bikes. I've recently bought a vintage Bianchi and I realized how difficult it is to find out the history, specs and original price of the models. So if you have a good website that categorizes some of the old historic bikes and any other link that would help the community of vintage racer fans and collectors please list it on this tread.

What and take away the pleasure of searching for all the pertinent information! That’s part of the fun of having a vintage and classic bike is having to wade through hundreds of posts on Bikeforums, internet searches in all languages, trying to find that catalogue that is not available and has you seemingly rare bike and figuring out what the hell it is worth!

Well, every thread in this forum is about vintage bikes, and there's likely discussion of Bianchis in a good number of them, but I'd suggest looking through this one first for possible links: http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=145909

My other strategy main isn't to use the search function in BF, but instead to do a Google search along the lines of
"Bianchi catalog site:bikeforums.net" and sifting through what you find.

And, finally, the search engine at bikelist.org will take you through years of Classic Rendezvous posts to see if anyone has discussed your bike. Go to search.bikelist.org and enter search terms along the lines of "Bianchi [your bike's particular model]" and start reading!

Bikelist almost got me close to identifying the one I am buying Friday, but no luck.

I have tried: Sheldon's Site, here on Bike Forums, Velo Base, Classic Rendezvous and google.

You'll find gobs of info on vintage bikes -- years and years worth, lots pertaining to Bianchi -- if you follow the advice of the previous posters. Check out this Japanese collector's site for Bianchi eye candy:

Generally speaking, I also like to look at collectors' bikes at WoolJersey:

I typed in Bianchi and got 485 hits/images with that tag associated with it.
