this time of year can be so much fun. Tonight on the commute home a fresh inch of snow was falling. 5-0 pulled along me to remind me I had to operate under the same laws as a car (actually said this: "You're a car out here."). And I took a new route home and found this. I sure am glad I'm not in charge.

Thanks for the great pic, naisme.

I was thinking the same thing a couple of days ago as I bicycled in the snow through neighborhoods all lit up with Christmas decorations. How wonderful!

I wanted to get my family and go for a ride, but they would never go for it.

Anyway, the biking now is fantastic.

Great picture! Also reminds me I have to get my decorations up.

(sigh) Forecast is warm and rainy for next week -- no white Christmas here, although we will have some snow tomorrow,

Yep, I see the same thing, along with that and all of the residential Christmas lighting it looks like a winter wonderland. Thanks for the picture!

Wow! Nice pic. I'd post one of my area, but I'm sorry to say we have no snow. Its just UGLY brown. :( Thanks for sharing with us.

Naisme, how did you take that nice night-time pic? Did you use a digital camera? Any hints?
