I decided it was time to get the thing off the wall, and start building it. Some of it's original, and having a second identical bike helped with parts. The funny thing though?? I jumped on it, and after a few fitment issues, this is a very sweet ride! The ride is very supple, and bumps get soaked up well. I actually stood up and did a short dash, the frame didn't flex near as much as some of my other bikes. Quad butted tubing thing I guess? It's nothing fancy, just wanted to show off my work for this weekend.
I changed a few parts to make it mine... Suntour Cyclone FD/RD, 600 aero levers, Sakae Modolo bars, new yellow housings, and rims are Suntour Sprint hubs and Arayas that came from a friend's Nishiki Medalist. Tires are Serfas Secas. Not gumwalls I know, but they're hard to beat. I've never had a single flat on any bike I've installed them on. Ever!:D,,,,BD
