Introductions - Hi!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Happened across the forum and it looks like a great one. I've gotten back into cycling and having a great time. At present I'm doing 50 to 60 mile road rides I'm still slow but getting in much better shape.

Hey Welcome to the forums. 50 to 60 miles is a good distance regardless of speed. Remember what Greg LeMond said, The pain never goes away, you just go faster!"

Welcome from another Inland Empirian. (Empirate?)
Lots of good information here. My advice is to check out all the different areas. Even if you're a roadie, you can find something interesting in the MTB section.
Isn't there a century ride in Hemet next year?
Thanks for the welcome. Yes there is the Hemet Century and Double coming up April 3. I'm hoping to get in adequate shape to give the single a try.

Welcome. My nephew is a minister at a church in Hemet. We visited him last summer. My uncle used to train pilots there in WWII. I have spent many camping trips at Idyllwild.
Hope you enjoy the forums.

Hmmm...
I checked out loop #1 and it comes within 1/2 mile from my house. You might see a cheering section at the corner of Victoria and La Sierra.
