Unfortunately not, I will be out of town (Cape Cod). Have fun!

Yeah I miss you guys! It's been a bit tough with Grover's rehab, my travel, and now me being sick. I'm all out of shape now. :o

Gee, this looks like a good way to get my tires wet so to speak. I've never done an organized ride; I ran some road races 20 years ago and one 1985 Budweiser series mini-triathlon so this could be just the thing. I don't have my kids that weekend (pretty much the way I decide what is and isn't meant to be) so.... I am looking at the 70K down. This will be two weeks after my personal half century marker. Any pearls of wisdom gathered from previous years for the newbe? Is there a site with a pre-flight check list?

You'll be fine. Just don't eat anything unusual to upset your stomach the night before or morning of. There will be pretty well stock rest stops. If you will have already done 50 two weeks prior, working up to 100 from there shouldn't be too big a stretch :)

Oh, my dear. The personal 50 to which I refer is of the anniversary kind, not the riding kind. It will be bestowed upon me. It is my personal century half full birthday. So, the hundred will be a stretch right now (maybe next year) as I reacquaint myself with bikes.

Cock-a-doodle-dooooo!!!!

I plan to be there but I'll be introducing some non cycling friends to organized rides. Which means I'll be doing the EZ ride and probably pulling my daughter in the trailer again! :)

Hmm, Bay Meadows is a pretty long ride from Cupertino, especially that early. If anybody will be driving up from the South Bay and is willing to bring another bike/rider, please let me know. I'll help with gas, of course!
