or downtube 7 speed full suspension only $300.
History: I got a boardwalk s1 about 5 weeks ago and like it a lot. However, I have already peaked on speed and distance. I didn't think this would happen. I haven't ridden in 15 years. I was a runner but injury has ended that for good. I find my normal cadence is about as fast as this bike can pedal, and find myself wanting to ride farther and faster. I don't think upgrading is worth the cost and I don't have the time. My riding is for working out (fun rides) mostly, then utility, ie: going to the store. I've kind of broken it down to these bikes ( need folder for space). Will any of them work for the long run for me? I don't want to need another bike in 3 months. I also like the big apple tires for rough roads. Boardwalk with 1.5 " tires doesnt handle it well. Thanks for any advise.

Jack is a bit big, and from what I've been told it doesn't like hills too much. You can put Big Apple tires on anything so don't base a decision on that. Depends on your budget too. Downtubes are solid folders, but most upgrade parts on it like gearing, but with savings you can spend that. Downtube also has 30 day try-out period so you can return it if it's not for you. If you don't mind size the Dahon Matrix has disc brakes for decent price on ebay, which I'd recommend over Jack. Jack looks cool though, definitely the bike of choice for ninjas. You might also consider a Xootr Swift if you are looking in the 500-600 range.

Canceled the jack order to get the speed p8, as soon as the jack charge clears my card.
