is someone happy they have a new ride? I think so!!!

Gotta get some pics after it's muddy!

Oh do you plan on riding on the street at night? If not I think you should get rid of the reflectors.. it will save soooo many grams.. I mean sheesh oh and every kid on your block will think your sooo much cooler without em. ;) I wont even mention the kickstand.. hahahaha.. just kidding. if you off road enough it will eventually come off on it's own! :D

Sweet lookin ride man, can't wait to see some pics of it out in the wild riding!!

Why post 3 times? Why not put all of that stuff into one post? Nice rig man :D enjoy it :)

Well, congratulations on a new rig! That K2 frame is the burliest, most overbuilt, gonzo tough thing you're ever gonna see (dig those seatstays!) and the build out on the 4.0 is a screaming deal at that price point. Ride and enjoy!

I'm glad to hear that ebasil

DV8r: When I used to use cages they got pretty annoying so I think I'll go clipless

I can't wait to ride it today! :)

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but dont the reflectors help counter the extra weight the valve stem adds to the rim? If you take the reflectors off your rim will be out of balance.

Actually, the reflectors will throw the wheel off balance. The stem does too by a few grams. Thay is why the stickers on the rim are usually opposite from the stem.

Davek,

That seat looks WAY low. Have you adjusted it yet. No need to blow up a knee on the first day. Or, by the looks of it, knee yourself in the chin.

Nice looking ride.

I took your advice and made it higher before the ride. Thanks

From one K2 rider to another... congrats on the new bike. I was testing out a Zed a few years ago and loved the ride. It's a fast and fun bike.
