General Cycling Discussion - Hey Joe . . .

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Is it possible to remain logged in continously? Meaning everytime I turn my 'puter off and then return to this site at a later date I have to log back in.
TIA,

I don't usually log out when I leave. Maybe this is bad but when I come back it recognizes me and I don't have to sign back in.

Try going to your profile and see if you have "automatically log back on" checked (use cookies). That might be your problem. DG

All of a sudden now it works! Go figure.
I only log out to switch personalities. Muahahahahahaaaaaa!!! Or I get logged out when my dad clear the cookies and temporary internet files for the day.

I'm in a habit of logging out properly because I always did at university (I don't want some other tosser coming along and posting under my name). To be honest, I've never really noticed the couple of seconds it takes to log in.
I always stay logged in. It's nice to always come back and post right away.
For some reason, even when I clear all of my cookies off of my computer, this one stays. I really don't care, but it is weird.
