I have an area down the street from my house like a 1 minute walk... i think it has a chance of being turned in to a fun little dirt course... here is some pictures... of the area, land, and jumps we jut built... .let me know what ideas you guys have.

Big bowl like area this connects to the area with the run up via a small hump pictured Next :

There is various off trails... but i was thinking of using the big bowl area as a roll in build a small jump at the bottom use the hump leading to the banked run up for speed to hit the jumps i built... after them make a double that leads back to the dirt bowl so you can go around it and back in to the run up again.

any ideas... remsmber NJ shore is sandy... its gonna be a hard task

Ooh! It definitely looks sandy, but will obviously hold its shape judging from the main jumps you've already made.
My thoughts: I would try to build 'em higher. I would try mixing some real dirt in there, then water and pack them as hard and as smooth as possible. I think some use of carpet would give you traction on the run up. In fact, try to get your hands on as much old low-pile carpet as possible and lay it on all of the loose parts and let it settle in. You have a good spot to work with!

You could have a small heaven on your hands if you got access to a Bobcat. You can rent at home depot.

Uhhh, no... they are called dirt jumps for a reason, not sand jumps, wood jumps, concrete jumps, or grass jumps.

The jump and berm I made in sandy ground last year are barely even visible anymore, they just equalized into the ground. That's what sand does, if you ignore it for the winter at least...

Plus it's almost impossible to pack down without a ton of water.
