So I got my Birdy - still early, but am really liking it.

Any recommendations for a cover or bag for it. It comes with a slip, but it doesnt exactly make the the folded bike look small. I'm thinking something black and slimming - any thoughts/advice?

Thanks.

I use a Dahon cover and it works well. Folds into it's own pouch and you can use the seat slit to carry it by the frame tube. I like it as it slips over the top, so you don't have to pick the bike up and try working it into a big flimsy bag one handed.

Unfortunately Dahon discontinued it, but they do pop up on ebay and there may be dealers with old stock.

An IKEA bag costs a whopping 50 cents. I'm not sure where you are buying a $5 IKEA bag from.

I believe the $5 includes the price of the cardboard... which presumably comes from an item bought at Ikea for $4.50?

I use the Dahon slip cover, which you can get from Sunrise for $20. The problem is that it is red and gets gunk on it. We made two black slip covers in it's place using nylon that show less grease, but they promptly fell apart. Also have the Birdy bag, which is higher quality than the Dahon bag, but does not fit nicely into the tool pouch (it's a bit more bulky).

Oppss! my bad. I had bought 5 for .99 cents each, so it was around $5.
They are now .59 cents. I'll try and change it.

thanks.

I would still love a duffle/shoulder bag, but the dust cover is doing the trick. Hides the bike from security and I just went to the movies with it.

Man.... I love my bike. As the guy at Bfold says, it's a life changer.
