There's a thread over in A&S about Critical Mass in general- I was wondering if anyone was involved in recent CM rides in Dallas? Someone posted the time, date, and place, but presumably from some other source, so I'm not sure it's current. So anyone ride these? How many people show up? What are they like? How is the word spread?
I was looking online for some info on this, as I am moving back to the DFW area.
I found this, but it seems out of date.

In the other thread, Belologist says "Dallas, last friday of every month, 5 PM, San Jacinto and Harwood!" (third page of the thread). But then again, his location is "Puget Sound moss farm", so this is likely to be from some other website, rather than firsthand knowledge. It was posted right after a link to the website you have there, so would presumably be more up to date if anything. Note on the website you list, that he shows the "last contact" which was several years ago in this case.
There was a Craigslist ad on CM a day or so ago, as well, don't know if that was related to these discussions or not.

No Critical Mass rides in Dallas due to lack of interest. I mean, really. It seems people just don't care that much around here. <grr>
Okay, really...I'm into RE-STARTING them if we can....Wouldn't hurt my feelings at all...I like riding downtown, it's quiet and there's no traffic.
Is there a CM over in FW?
I was read that some guys in the FixedFW.org forums were thinking of going. Then found this.
