Will this fit a Birdy 18"? Anyone have any idea how much room it has?

This seems preferable to the El Boso since that bag doesn't appear to completely cover the bike.

Hmm. I'm wondering if it'll fit the DT mini...

I can barely get my Curve in there (I have to remove the seat-post/seat), so I doubt it. They were really made for pre-2007 16in Dahon's.
Since the DT Mini is a little smaller in total folding inches 59 vs 63, I wouldn't be surprised if it does fit.
What are folded dimensions of the 18in Birdy?

Folded dimensions of the Birdy are 30" x 23" x 11"
I'm really looking for a cheaper Dahon bag that fully covers the bike and preferrable has some sort of strap (or wheels would be great).
So far, no problems getting the bike into the office, but there are some draconian folks who work the desk sometimes and my Birdy slip cover doesn't exactly disguise the bike as generic luggage.

Two blue Ikea bags. Put scoot in one. Cover with the other. Your bike has just become 'luggage'.

Yeah, the 30" is just too long, unfortunately. The thing wouldn't be able to zip, I'm sure. Another option is to try some non bike-specific bags (the Ikea one is great like snafu21 mentioned). I know someone here mentioned one of those long army surplus duffelbags. That looked like a good idea for total concealment. :innocent:
Has anyone tried getting the DT mini into this bag?

Or make your own and customize the fit. See my photos and instructions:

I have an El Bolso bag, very poor design. Anything, even a trash bag, is preferable to the El Bolso.
