I've been mostly lurking here for some time, but now that my BD and I have made our first meandering 6 mile laundry run, I figured it was time to say hi!

Sweet. What kickstand do you have? Do you have close-up pics of it?

Very nice. I'd like to post your photo to my Big Dummy Blog (http://www.viks-bigdummy.com) if that's cool with you?

It's the stand Xtracycle sent with the bike... a good old Greenfield. Didn't come with a rubber cap so I temped one to save my floors.

 I love seeing the birth of a new Dummy.

Welcome, Gweedough! Sorry to not get a compiled list to you earlier! Meanwhile, your bike looks swell in every way, and :thumb: for puttin' her to use!

Build details? (In particular, the drivetrain and wheels.)

The xtracycle complete, right? looks like some different bars though. Look like a north road type, but never seen any that shape in black. I'm curious what they are. Also curious how many, or few people kept the stock cruiser handlebars on their completes.

Lookin sharp with no decals!

Ah, yes. A de-badged brother from a different mother.

As much as I wanted to do a full build, I wanted to get out riding more so I went with what Xtracycle (http://www.xtracycle.com/product_info.php?cPath=5&products_id=122) had to offer. Swapped out the cruiser bar for the North Road albatross bar. The c bar wasn't bad, but as a motorcycle rider I always throw my bikes' front brakes to the right and back brakes to the left and I didn't have enough slack in the cable to make that work. Taped the albatross from grip to stem to keep it dark. Will probably swap out the stem and the pedals. Stem's a little too hip with all the snazzy FSA graphics. Not sure I like the blinky LEDs in the pedals. Will definitely be going with the Rohloff hub soon. Apart from that, I love the beast!
