Are there any clubs in north Austin that have weekly organized rides? I'll be there for six weeks starting next month and want to join some rides there. I'm still new at this so I need a 16mph pace for about 40-45 miles.

You might want to check out the austin road riders (http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/austinroadriders/) and the Thursday night BSS north hill climbs (http://www.bikemojo.com/speak/showthread.php?t=68819).
The ACA (http://austincycling.org/rides.html) has some northern group rides on the weekends.
