Hey guys, I was wondering what everyone thought about the Schwinn Frontier GS 2008 model. I am wanting to get into biking, maybe a little off road not too much and I was wondering if this was a good starting out model. Any help would be appreciated.

In a word, no. Have look at some giants like the boulder or boulder se, or if you can go the extra dosh look at a Giant Rincon, an excellent starter bike. This is an 07 model.

I was in the same exact boat as you. I went with the Giant Boulder SE and so far, I am really enjoying it. Good luck!
