Bodyguard for Evans
Team Silence-Lotto is doing all it can to help Cadel Evans win the Tour de France this summer. Not only will he have his own cook at the race, he will also be accompanied by a bodyguard. That bodyguard is Serge Borlée, a former Belgian policemen who also worked for the Motorola team and later was bodyguard for Lance Armstrong. Most recently he worked at the Tour de France last year for Alexander Vinokourov.

Not gonna happen. The winner is going to come from CSC or Rabobank.
I don't know if it's been posted before but In that photo Cadel looks like Robbie Rotten from the kids show Lazytown.

I read Gesink (Rabobank) does 500w at his threshold. 500w (!). Would he be a contender? Well, okay, if he learns to descend. I guess a requirement for a skinny climber on Rabobank is that you can't descend well.
Cadel may be good to go but I wonder if a new upcoming guy, considered "second tier", will do a good ride and win.

Im hoping Valverde will come good this year. But he probably does'nt have the team for it. They need to hire one rider to act as enforcer for him to keep him out of the 1st week crashes.

Perhaps he's a little too young to do that day in and day out...? In any case it's pretty impressive.

fixed.
(that would apply to every one though-so for the sake of argument, lets just assume all the contenders are on a level playing field vis a vie doping. Well except for the whiney French riders. Oh wait, I said contenders didnt I?)

I'm calling a podium for Cunego.
The last I heard was that Gesink wasn't going to ride the tour, Robo feels he's too young to take the abuse.
Lance is gonna 3-peat this year. Go Texas.
