I cannot get my campy chorus 10 speed rear to shift right. As soon as I get one side right,the other side is a bit funny. I have 4600 miles on this set of cogs. Also, shifting is loud and rough. I replaced the chain at 3500 miles. Could this inability to adjust the shifting this time be due to cogs? Should I replace cogs and chain together? How many miles should I expect out of a campy 10 cog setup?

This may sound real crazy but make sure the derailleur cable is "seated properly" at the deralleur cable clamp bolt. If not, this changes the pull rate of the rear derailleur, resulting in one end of the cassette shifting smoothly and the other end not. This happened to me once, many, many years ago when I replaced my derailleur cable......

Go to the shop , this may be a problem with the lever , one of our members ( UNION CICLISTA BENIDORM www.ucbclub.org ) had a Campy Record and could not get the shift right , seems there´s a piece that can break inside and cause this , it´s a cheap repair but can´t be done at home as it flys apart once touched and is a pain to reassemble .
The advantage with Campy is that while it does wear it can be easily rebuilt , though only by pros .
