I will be in Solon this weekend, so am wondering about decent roads/routes to do a 40-60 mile ride.

dvs, Here is one to think about if you have somene to get you there or a car of your own. In Burton, Ohio (my guess would be around 15 miles North east of Solon) on sunday is the "Sunday in June ride" put on by Cleveland touring club. A great ride, with one exception, that being the roads can be a little rough due to the Amish buggies in that area, otherwise this is a nice ride. You can register the day of the ride and there is a great all you can eat buffet after. The rides are 30-60-100 miles you choose.

dvs, This may help also; go to www.ohiocycling.info (http://www.ohiocycling.info) and look at rider resourses, go to clubs and look up either Akron bike club or western reserve wheelers, both ride in that area and Western reserve has maps on their site.
