Hi all,

I just got a 2008 Infiniti G35S Sedan and I can't find a rack to fit this car. I called the dealer and they have no idea. I went to the Infiniti site and they don't show a bike rack as one of the accessories they sell. I'm not sure about a hitch since the bottom back of the car has some plastic cover over the area where you would think the hitch should install.

Does anyone here either drive the same car or know of a solution to this problem? This is really irritating me as you can imagine. I don't want to have to borrow my wife's car every time I want to go ride.

Thank for reading and hopefully someone can help me out with this.

Have a great day.

Just about any vehicle can have a hitch added on to it. A quick search brings up lots of options http://www.google.com/search?client=opera&rls=en&q=2008+Infiniti+G35S+hitch&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

Or just check your local u-haul.

I use the Thule rack, but there are lots of other choices out there.

Thanks a lot Pugsly. I'll check out what U-Haul has to say. Hopefully they'll have the solution for me. I appreciate your help.

I had a '03 G35 and shortly after purchasing found that no 'off the shelf' rack fits it. I found a few threads on the Fresh Alloy forums covering the subject. I tried a few times to contact a freelance hitch installer, but never got a reply... eventually gave up and got a hatchback.

I know it's not what you wanted to hear. Nice cars, I know. Good luck.

Try yakima.com and search for a roof rack. I have an '04 Mazda Rx-8 and I bought a Yakima roof rack. Thule did not make one for my car.

I purchased a Saris Bones 2 rack and I am going to try to put it on today to see how it works out. If that doesn't work, then I am going to try that Yakima site. Thanks for the suggestion.

I am trying to avoid the hitch option as long as I can. If nothing else works, then that may have to be the solution.

Thanks for your suggestions guys.
