View Full Version : Adisi saddlebags - does anyone know of a supplier in the USA or Europe?

I first saw the Adisi bag on Flickr, from Roy's photo sets. The bag
looks like a really clever idea. See some examples of it in use here:

I really like the look of the bag. Bigger than a normal saddlebag, but
not too big. Much lighter than a Carradice. More than big enough for a
long day trip, or possibly even light touring in combination with
front panniers.

After much hunting around, I finally found a supplier, but they are in
Taiwan (and 650 yuan = $93!)

I've seen that Jandd make a similar bag, but it doesn't look quite as
good and it seems to require bungees to the chainstays to stabilize
it. The Adisi appears pretty stable by velcroing to the seatpost, and
being narrower but deeper.

I also see that Carradice do several saddlebags (http://www.carradice.co.uk/sqr-saddlepacks/index.html), but they are all boring black and stick out an unnecessarily long way on a folder. Why not keep the weight close to the seat post and as low as possible?
