I caught a later train than usual this evening…. sitting there I saw a guy half way down the carriage get up and wheel a bike towards the doors. I could only see the rear wheel and part of the frame…. I then spotted the soda blue mudguard stay and I thought “that is a Bike Friday Tikit”!
As the train came to a stop I stood in the open doorway as he walked along the platform towards me and I then said “Hi!, that is the first Bike Friday Tikit, I’ve seen … I’ve been looking at those on the web for a while” I think he was surprised and he certainly looked pleased that I knew what his bike was. The blue colour looked a lot better than it does in the photos I’ve seen.
I will have to keep an eye out for that bike again. I’m sure that Tikits are quite rare here in the UK.
