Bicycle Mechanics - Joe Blow Sport and the Presta valve

Hrm. So I´m gonna go ahead and ask a question that will probably forever put a big neon idiot sign on my forehead..
But one who doesn´t ask... =)
So I had the Joe Blow Sport floor pump with the twin head a few years but never used the presta side as I basically never had to.
Now I recently switched to a presta valve and finding myself in a pretty amusing situation.
I don´t know how to pump my tyres.
As I said I never used the presta side and obviously it doesnt work like with a schrader as no air flows in the tube.... :o
So anyone has the same pump or can help me out with a tip?
I searched the topeak website but couldnt really find anything helpful.
The Twinhead download "manual" didnt really do the trick either.
So laughters and taunts are on me.
But... help?:innocent:

step 1. Take cap off and loosen air valve on tire stem (allows air to be pumped in)
step 2. Put presta pump head over stem (loosened)
step 3. flick the head lock to the opposite direction of the stem (for air seal)
step 4. pump to desired pressure
step 5. release head lock and take head off tire stem
step 6. tighten air valve on stem and place cap back on.

One addition to the above. After you loosen the lock nut on the valve stem, give it a quick tap as presta's tend to become sticky.

Air will go into the tube when the pressure in the pump exceeds the pressure in the tube, not before. Sometimes if the valve is a little sticky, pressure in the pump will get very high before the valve releases.
