So i put my 2007 Haro Thread 1 that i bought for $700 and put like $100 into on craigslist for $500.
I said $500 or for a bmx because i am very interested in getting a bmx and want to since i have for a while.
I got a message asking if i would trade for a 2007 Eastern Element all stock, and it looks like perfect condition, and with a $100l Do you think this is a fair trade for me? Thanks, i haven't got any other offers.
Here is a link to mine. http://sacramento.craigslist.org/bik/705587582.html

Edit:
Here is a link to the 2007, it's the white one.

Punx is back! I don't see anything wrong with the trade besides that it's an Eastern.

So do you think i should do it. I really want to get into bmx. lol.
I just don't want to get ripped off. Then i could put $100 into it. It looks brand new though.

Aight i will. I am going to get probably the Shadow Seatpost pivotal which weights like 3.5 oz and $25, the Duo Rogue Status Pivotal Seat it looks hella tight for $32, then i may get some new kink bars that are on sale on dans comp for like $40 and weight 23 oz and that would $110 with shipping, then do the 15% off discount. What would you reccomend getting with the extra $50 if i don't want the bars?

Honestly, I'd consider a bike to lose 50% of its resale value as soon as it's ridden, the same as a car (I don't mean 2 minutes test rides in the parking lot of the bike shop, but ridden like someone's own bike), so that deal doesn't sound good to me.

But, you might not be able to get $500 for the one you're selling either, so who knows.

Yea. I am still thinking, i am going to do the trade tommorow if i still want to do it. Thanks for the advice. I would like more too though.

Yea i think i will trade. When i get it, i am going to take off all the stickers that say eastern and element and that stuff. Take off Gyro and either make it brakeless which i am most likely going to do or make it normal. I am most likely going to buy a shadow pivotal seat post for $25, a duo rogue status pivotal seat for $32 and i am going to have like $60 left over because of the 15% deal on danscomp. I would like some suggestions on what i should do with the rest of the money or if i should get a different pivotal seat and seat post. Thanks

The seat/post combo is good. But like you said, I would get new bars depending on how they feel. And get spacers to replace the Gyro plates.

Can you send me a link to the spacers for the gyro plates from dans comp.
Thanks.
Wait so if i get rid of gyro i have to put spacers in...

You could do that, but just throwing some spacers in there is easier. Spacer. (http://http://www.danscomp.com/309045.php)

I can't right now. I just weighed it at the shop...It weighs around 27.8 lbs. The guy said it weighed like 25-26..lol i knew it wouldn't weight that much. In the future i am going to get new Khe Folding Park tires, maybe new bars since i don't like mine, new seat/post. That's all. I like it a lot so far. Super good for manuals and bunnyhops :)
