$2400.00. That's a lotta beans. Does look nice but, 250W max sounds low to me though.

This is Schwinn's re-engineered e-bike. Last year's model had a lot of problems, so many that it was pulled from the market for several months. The primary problem being that the batteries were not fully recharging, so that the usable range dropped over time. I believe the price last year was around $1700, so it has gone up quite a bit with the fixes.

I did speak with a reputable salesman at a LBS, someone who has always talked straight with me, and he told me that he thought they had done a good job of addressing the problems and was confident that the new bikes were of good quality. But was concerned about whether they would be able to sell them at the new prices.
