It is also like going to be 40 degrees here to day. All that snow I wrote about riding in, and all the reasons for having a set of studded tires is right out the window, thank you very much. Worked on another fixie for the ride today, an old Peugeot, real relaxed triangles and center pull brake. Just cause the weather has gone south, doesn't mean I'm following it with getting my roadie out.

There are still two weeks of hellish cold out there. They are just lurking for the unsuspecting.

With a winter like this who would think of moving to AZ?

Isn't this the first full day? I thought winter started on the 21st at 2am Monday morning.

Anyway, it's getting warm here too, supposed to be 52deg here by NYC which makes the commute really interesting. First, in the morning when it's about freezing, the trails are ICE! and then the meltoff comes and afterwards the trails are a huge mud bog. I'd rather have it remain frozen or remain thawed but the constant freeze/refreeze is hell on the roads and the trails here in NJ.

Same out here! Over 50F today and tomorrow. However, looks like an Alberta Clipper is on the way for later this week!

I'm getting some warm temps high near 40 and the snow pack is down to just 18" after last weeks storm.

I can't think of why someone would move to AZ? THIS IS WAY TO MUCH FUN!! Hell I rode home today with shorts on. Enjoy it naisme while it last.
