Can I use a 10 speed crankset/derrailleur with a 8 speed cassette and chain?

Maybe.

Dont recommend it, as the wider 8 speed chain won't be happy with the narrow spacing between front chainrings. Perhaps it might work better with a 10 speed chain, but I dont know for sure as the wider teeth on the 8 speed cassette might not work with the narrow chain...please give us a report on your experiment.

Width of the teeth should be the same. The internal dimensions of the two chains are the same.

Most likely problem is the width of the dérailleur vs. the width of the chain.

Naturally the OP doesn't tell us which f%&# parts he's talking about so "maybe" is still the definitive answer.

I was planning on using a 105 10 speed Triple crankset, front and rear derrailleur, with 8 speed Dura-Ace cassette and Sach 8 speed chain.

hey you might want to contact this shiftmate for a solution

option number 2, but you would need to buy a new/used 9speed cassette...buty I think it would work for an 8 speed

Crank doesn care.

Cogs/Cluster must match chain and shifter.
