Well cutting back on gas so avoiding the trail we head for the hills. Today was Gina's first ride at home heading up! I was worried but she rode very well. 30 miles of gentle climbing. When I ride alone, I carry a 13.6 avearge on this ride. Today she rode with me and she easily held a 12.4. without much bother. Held it down to familiarize her with the route. Sheesh, another couple of weeks and I may be struggling to keep up with her!:D

Not today but I have. We speak of a ride called GMR (Glendora Mtn Rd) to Mt Baldy. I've done it a hundred times. Gina's tried it 2 times. It's 5,000ft in 40'ish miles. Her best day was on a 100 degree day. She fell about 4 miles short, I think she could have made it but I got stung on the neck by a bee so we headed back. I'm not sure if she was heartbroken about it or not!:D
