hi again, i've got some citec wheels and just wanted to know if the front hub is serviceable.
The rear one has conventional spanner flats but the front one has just got 2 holes.
I injected grease into 1 hole and it came out of the sides and the other hole. The reason i want to service them is that there is a small amount of play in the bearings and grit.
There are no visible threads on the axle. Hope you can help.

Can you use a pin spanner to turn the cap/cover with the holes?

Tried that but they were very tight. Did'nt want to ruin the grease holes{if thats what they are**.
Just thought , if they are greasing points , then they would'nt need to be there if the hub was dismantible?

Well, it seems like the hub must use sealed cartridge bearings, rather than cup/cone...would the injected grease even be able to get to the inside of the bearings? And...if they are indeed grease ports...why are there two of them?

I'd call the manufacturer. If in doubt, call the manufacturer. Some are very nice and helpful. -FTU
