I just finished the Tour de Cure Half-Metric Century in Reston, VA in 96 degree heat on the W&OD trail. It was a great ride and am really impressed with this event. It was a first class experience! Overall, I faired really well and posted my fastest time to date at 15.21 mph. I was hoping for under 2 hours, but I dropped my average during miles 28-30, then I got a second wind and finished strong.
