there are different version - large small, huge ...
what would be your recommendation?

They shouldn't be more then 1 cm (< 1/2") larger then your hand.

Use sparringly, they can cause shoulder problems when over used. Use the finger loop only, not the wrist strap. This will give you much more feed back on form. If the paddle slides off you hand, you are not doing something correct.

Mine look like the Star Trek pin :) Each brank will have some gimmic. Try and get them in a store so you can get the correct size.

Well said. Paddles will tear shoulders up quicker than anything. Use them sparingly and wisely.
