Anyone ever use these? I just purchased a new 'cross bike and want to mount some Topeak lights on the forks. I have a Topeak Bar Xtender, but mounting it above or below the stem will not work. The cables are in the way.
The Minoura Besso looks similiar to the Topeak Bar Xtender. I need the piece of mind knowing that the lights aren't gonna pop off during a bumpy ride. That's from the fork mounts failing, not the light mounts.:D

The mounts are held on by a steel strap and will not come loose. However, they are not for carbon forks.

Yeah, it looks just like the Bar Xtender. I'd be mounting them on a steel fork. Whenever I would mount the Bar Xtender, I would use electrical tape and rubber shims to make a snug fit.:D

Looks like it works well. Great picture. I'm still using the Topeak Bar'Xtender. Here's a recent photo (http://www.flickr.com/photos/9320902@N04/2951683437/). I am yet to get another Topeak head/flash light.
