Rode the 31 mile course (35 on the computer). Weather was perfect although Mother Nature can stop anytime now with those !@#$%&* 25+ mph wind gusts....
Ran into SJCzar and her cooler than cool polka dotted Trek. I opted for the classic apple pie. I'm not fond of blueberry and the wife does not like cherry.
Once again, a nice ride. Now... where is my pie?...:thumb:
Next up...Swedish Days.
Nice to run into you again this year. We both managed to get out of the park without breaking or forgetting something first.
I went for the cherry pie. I would have tried the blueberry but they were all gone by the time we got back.
I'm still feeling guilty about not making it to the HHH. Who would have known that getting up at 2:45am would still not get me there in time. Oh well, the Pie Ride is always a great alternative. I guess it was my destiny to be chowing down on pie instead of having aching legs and lungs.
