I recently bought a new pair of shoes. Went from MTB composite soles to Nike T1 carbon fiber soles. So far I like the shoes, but with the CF soles I have a difficult time feeling the lock in point. As a result I have some hellacious scrapes and bruises on my calves. Maybe it's just a practice issue, but it never seemed to happen before. (I've been using them for 2 -3 years) The other thing I have noticed is my right knee seems to come in more at the top of my pedal rotation. I assume this is partially a platform/support issue.

So the bottom line is I'm looking for new pedals. I am curious, however, how many people use eggbeaters vs others.

I Like my eggbeaters. Easy in, easy out. (even in panic mode)

Bonus: If you put your bike shoes on your feet in T1 (rather than have them already clipped into the pedals) the 3-hole road eggbeater cleats are more stable and easier to run in to get your bike out of the corral than Look cleats.
