I get today off paid but have to work Saturday to make up for today.

Shift work, started my run of days today. There are 2 of us here, a 24/7 manned facility. It's cool sometimes but not so much today, waaaay too quiet.

At least the big Christmas feast will be ready when I get off the afternoon though ;)

I am working too.. At least out here in sunny, warm California - it is raining today. First Christmas in 11 years that it has rained. If not here, could be home on the trainer, warming up for Christmas dinner.. Work is very quiet...Just two manning the plant...No bosses. Merry Christmas.

For the past 10 years I work all holidays. I prefer it that way. Better money and to be honest, I don't care for xmas like people with families do so I usually give it up.

My brother got up at 5:15 A.M and woke the whole house up just to go sell flowers on christmas morning!! He was working alone, just out side of a school. Oh well sleep in next year:P

Yep, I'm at work been here since 4pm, rode to work, get to ride home. It's been a wonderful Christmas. Did the family thing yesterday afternoon, then worked. The money's good, plus I'll get a paid day off after the holidays, hope to use it for the trip to Tucson.

No, but I'm 'on call' New Years eve. I prefer not to be out with the once a year drunks anyways....
