Foo - Bike Forums Member of the Year 2003 nominations.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Please count me out on this.
I think we are all important and valuable, and singling certain persons out at the expense of others is contradictory to our bicycle forums values as I understand them.
Instead, if you like the advice someone has given you or the help they have provided, send them a PM, or even state it publicly in the thread.

I agree, there's been times when I thought one person was particularly inspiring or funny. But then just a few days later it was someone else. I learn something from almost every thread and comment. Somethings I didn't even want to learn I did! :D
With that said I really enjoy this forum, but it isn't about who's best at being on the forum, for me it's the fact that we all seem to love peddling our hind ends around the country. :D

Most inspiring member: Joe Gardner
Without his efforts, this place may not exist. Don't forget your roots people.

Not a chance!
I nominate Denver Fox for "Popeye" award: "I am what I am and that's all that I am." He speaks his mind, and that's refreshing. I also nominate him for, "Most Appreciated" (by me.)
Cheers!

Well, thanks. I have really tried to tone my rhetoric down the last few months, and think I have at least partially succeeded, realizing that at time I was way off the deep end!
But, I do respectfully decline.

I was going to suggest two new categories. One was the cutest and I was going to nominate cbhungry.
The second was the most obnoxious, but endearing and engaging and I was going to nominate two, myself and gonesh9.
Perhaps we need a third, those who cannot pass up the opportunity to engage in personal attacks?
Naw, just stick with the original two.

Good call on not doing this. Following through with such a nomination would be nominating one's self.

I started out with this idea, which would have been better, but somehow I guess I couldn't resist the opportunity for a personal attack. I guess I do win that category, then...
How about best perpetual cyber-banter: TR & G9, although Spire and WK put up a good fight earlier this year.
I apologize for the personal attacks, TR. My bikeforums new years resolution will have to be to respect all views, no matter how absurd they might be.

Humm, a new category, the person who can talk out of multiple sides of their mouth simulteneously!
But, you know, we could continue this pun trading ad infinitum to the point of ad naseum.
