If the US$ to the Canada$ is 1 to 1 $350 is way too much. You can get a brand new beach cruiser tandem with gears for about that much on-line.

there is a guy in Broadview and Queen who was selling me a Mongoose MTB tandem BNIB for CDN$400.
it's an entry level but it's definitely better than that old beach cruiser. PM me your e-mail address.
