Yeah, another "first century" post :) .
My wife and I started riding somewhat regularly about a year ago, we bought her a nice road bike in February of this year, and have had a great time riding together. Completed our first metric century in May, and just did a full century, w/ roughly 5000' of climbing on Saturday. We didn't set any speed records, but we finished and had fun doing it, which was the goal. She was able to ride all the way up all the hills, no walking, which was her biggest concern. Not bad for an asthmatic in her late forties :) .
Cycling has been to be a great couple activity for us and is bringing on some positive lifestyle changes. Next goal: 200Km.
