I'm late posting this due to cable glitches and a holiday schedule that intruded on the viewing of the second part of this HBO miniseries. I was finally able to watch it last night.
When the DVD is released, I'm getting it. It was outstanding.
Everyone in the cast is extraordinary. The production itself could have sucked a Spam sandwich (it didn't, though!) and this would have still been a can't-miss. As it is, it's one more reason why HBO's original programming has the reputation that it does. (I sound like a shill, but it can't be helped.)
