Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Gotta say, I am loving the riding. The hill that were kicking my arse a month ago are a breeze. Going up in a higher gear without getting winded and waiting on my neighbor to catch up:thumb: The hills that I used to have to climb in the lowest gear on my bike are now ascended in a much higher gear. I don't get to ride much, but I try to get in at least 3.5 miles a day. Oh yeah, my drawers(pants for you city folk:D) are getting loose. I'm down one size- same as I wore two years ago. It's coming off slowly, but it's working.

Thats great Big D, excellent work! Be careful with acending in too high a gear, you don't want to hurt you knees mashing.

Thanks bautieri. I do watch out for my knees as I have an old ACL and MCL injury that I was too stupid to take care of 15 years ago. I know immediately when I am overdoing it, and when it's getting ready to storm:D

Well done. How much more, or how many sizes, are you trying to lose?

Thank you. My goal is back down to the mid 190's and 38" waist, but I'll be satisfied at 200- thats what I weighed when I got married 10 years ago and I felt great then. I'll never be a skinny feller, just not built that way. I was 5'10 and 150 in the 5th grade and 5'11 190 in high school. I started last month at 279 and so far I am down to 267. This is the biggest I have ever been and it sucks... I have no one to blame but myself.
